Ajman University Receives “Best Collaborative Entity” Award at Our Happy Summer 2026

Ajman University received the “Best Collaborative Entity” Award as part of the Excellence Awards of the seventh edition of the Ajman Government Summer Program, “Our Happy Summer 2026,” recognizing its outstanding collaboration and contribution to the initiative. During the program, the University delivered three major programs featuring nine diverse activities across innovation and AI, health and wellbeing, engineering and technology, culture, and creativity, reflecting its commitment to community engagement, youth empowerment, and partnership with the Government of Ajman.

Student Kasvi Raheja Wins Excellence Award at the Global Development Public Policy Youth Innovation Contest

Kasvi Raheja, a first-year medical student, received the Excellent Proposal Award (Category 2) at the Global Development Public Policy Youth Innovation Contest (GDPPYI), held under the umbrella of UNITAR. As the only Ajman University member of a four-student team, Kasvi contributed to developing the Cultural Data Protection and Compliance Framework (CDPCF), which aims to protect UAE Nabati poetry from unregulated use as AI training data without consent or attribution. The achievement highlights students’ ability to develop innovative solutions that connect emerging technologies with the protection of cultural heritage.

Ajman University Dean of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Named Fellow of the International Pharmaceutical Federation

Professor Abeer Al Ghananeem, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, has been named a Fellow of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), receiving an international distinction that recognizes sustained leadership and significant contributions to the advancement of pharmacy. Professor Al Ghananeem was formally inducted during the Opening Ceremony of the 84th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Montreal, Canada. The Congress brings together pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, educators, researchers, and leaders from around the world to exchange knowledge and help shape the future of the profession.

The session also gave students the opportunity to become more familiar with the support available to them and start their experience at Ajman University with greater confidence.
