Ajman University Raises UAE Flag in Response to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Call

In response to the call by H.H.  Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to raise the UAE flag above homes, institutions, and buildings, Ajman University raised the national flag on its campus, expressing pride in the nation and reflecting the values of unity and solidarity that define the UAE community. This initiative reaffirms the University’s commitment to national values and strengthens a shared sense of belonging among its community.

Ajman University Hosts the Fifth International Forum on Education and Mental Health 2026 to Advance Well-Being and Climate Resilience

Ajman University hosted the Fifth International Forum on Education and Mental Health (IFEMH) 2026 under the theme “Sustainable Minds: Mental Health, Climate Anxiety, and the Role of Education,” bringing together 73 speakers from 29 universities worldwide. Held virtually, the forum explored key topics such as climate anxiety, psychological resilience, and the role of education in promoting well-being and sustainability through keynote sessions, panels, and workshops. The event also introduced initiatives including mangrove planting in partnership with EcoMatcher and the launch of the IFEMH Women’s Studies Research Award, reinforcing the University’s commitment to advancing interdisciplinary dialogue, community well-being, and sustainable development.

Student Success Center Hosts Webinar on Student Well-being and Resilience

The Student Success Center (SSC) hosted an engaging SSC Connect webinar titled “Adapting, Coping, Succeeding: A Student Well-being Guide,” conducted online via Zoom. The session was led by Dr. Lubna Ahmad, Senior Clinical Instructor at the College of Medicine, and focused on helping students understand the psychological impact of crises. The webinar provided practical strategies for coping, building resilience, and maintaining academic continuity, supporting students’ overall well-being and success.

Nursing Students Gain Critical Care Resuscitation Training to Enhance Career Readiness

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences hosted an online workshop titled “Advancing Resuscitation Excellence in Critical Care Nursing,” delivered by Dr. Emad Hanna Dababneh, Regional Faculty for the American Heart Association in the MENA region and Director of Life Support Programs at Tawam Hospital and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. The session engaged more than 100 nursing students and faculty members, providing specialized training in life support and emergency care, as part of the College’s efforts to bridge academic learning with practical clinical skills and enhance students’ readiness for critical healthcare settings.
