The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Hosts 9th Regional Pharmacy Faculty Development Workshop on AI in Pharmacy Education

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences hosted the 9th Regional Pharmacy Faculty Development Workshop, titled Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy Education. The workshop was sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in partnership with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and in collaboration with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. The two-day event featured expert sessions, hands-on activities, and regional presentations on using AI in pharmacy education, training, and assessment.

Ajman University’s CHS Programs Gain Prestigious ACQUIN International Accreditation

Ajman University reached a new milestone as several programs from the College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) received prestigious international accreditation by ACQUIN. This includes the renewal of accreditation for the Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Work (following its previous HCERES accreditation) valid until September 2033, accreditation of the Master of Digital Sociology until September 2031, and the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology until September 2031.

Ajman University Celebrates Alumna’s Career Success at Al Rostamani Group

Ajman University continued to strengthen its engagement with industry partners through meaningful knowledge exchange by delivering a workshop on Creating an Inclusive Workplace at Al Rostamani Group. The workshop focused on promoting inclusive practices, raising awareness, and fostering supportive work environments, and featured interactive discussions reflecting a shared commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The visit was also a proud moment for Ajman University in celebrating the professional journey of AU alumna Raneem Hamoudeh, who has recently joined Al Rostamani Group. Her achievement reflects the University’s ongoing efforts to prepare graduates who contribute positively across sectors.

The Deanship of Student Services Hosts “Succeeding at AU” Orientation Session

The Deanship of Student Services organized the “Succeeding at AU” orientation session to welcome new Spring Semester students and support their smooth transition into university life. Representatives from the University’s administrative offices shared valuable insights and practical tips to help students navigate campus services with confidence, while the session also introduced students to key support services and provided essential guidance to help them settle comfortably at the start of their academic journey.

The Office of Student Life Hosts Open House to Engage Students

The Office of Student Life hosted the Open House to introduce students to extracurricular activities and encourage their active participation in various events that contribute to developing their skills and shaping their personalities. These included music, fine arts, and a wide range of student clubs that celebrate culture, creativity, and shared interests, helping students discover activities, express their talents, and build meaningful connections across campus.

The Office of International Academic Affairs Hosts Winter Study Tour 2026

The Office of International Academic Affairs welcomed participants from more than 30 universities worldwide at a special dinner held as part of the Winter Study Tour. The gathering marked the start of an immersive AI experience, bringing together students and academics through expert-led seminars, industry engagements, and hands-on sessions exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on societies and business. The tour also highlights the UAE and Ajman as active hubs for innovation, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration.

The Teaching Learning Center Hosts Academic Advising Development Session

The Teaching Learning Center organized a training and dialogue-based session to advance academic advising practices at Ajman University. The session focused on continuous training and professional development for faculty serving as academic advisors. It brought together specialists from Ajman University and peers from universities across the UAE, creating a platform to exchange expertise and share practical, actionable approaches for more effective and student-centered advising.

The College of Mass Communication Held Faculty Assembly for Spring Semester 2025–26

The College of Mass Communication held a faculty assembly for the second semester of the 2025–26 academic year, led by Dean Dr. Hosam Slama and Head of Department Dr. Emad ElDin and attended by faculty members. The meeting focused on research, industry and community engagement, and improving teaching quality and learning outcomes.

Community at Heart

The Office of Community Engagement Celebrates the International Day of Education

The Office of Community Engagement marked the International Day of Education with an event at Manar Al Eman Charity School in Ajman. The initiative combined gift wrapping with the distribution of educational toys and gifts to over 800 students. The event aimed to support learning, spread joy, and encourage student involvement in community service.

Masar Career Excellence Introduces Career Support Services to Students

Masar Career Excellence organized an introductory session to introduce students to its services and career support programs, targeting new and first-year students as well as those unfamiliar with Masar services. The team highlighted their role in career counseling, skills development, internships, and job readiness, and emphasized early engagement to help students maximize future opportunities. The session also showcased Masar’s initiatives and industry partnerships, reflecting Ajman University’s commitment to enhancing student employability.

Green Narratives

Students Participate in EEG Inter-College Environmental Public Speaking Competition

Ajman University students from the College of Dentistry, College of Engineering and Information Technology, and College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences participated through the Office of Sustainability in the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) Inter-College Environmental Public Speaking Competition held in Dubai. The competition focused on strengthening students’ public speaking skills while addressing various environmental topics. Participants delivered presentations that reflected their awareness of sustainability issues and their ability to communicate them clearly. This participation supports the Office of Sustainability’s efforts to promote environmental awareness and develop students’ leadership and communication skills, creating a positive community impact.
