Dr. Nasreldin, Associate Professor at the College of Mass Communication, received second place in the Social Studies category at the 42nd edition of the Rashid Bin Humaid Award for Culture and Sciences for his research titled “The Role of Social Media Influencers in Reinforcing Aspects of Social Backwardness: An Analytical Study.” His research explores how influencer content shapes values and behaviors in Arab societies and may perpetuate patterns that hinder social progress. |

The Pediatric Dentistry team, accompanied by faculty members, conducted an awareness visit to Manar Al Iman Charity Private School as part of the College of Dentistry’s community outreach and preventive oral health initiatives. The visit focused on educating students about fluoride application and oral hygiene, aiming to build lifelong healthy habits. During the visit, the team provided fluoride treatment to 90 students and organized interactive sessions on proper brushing techniques and healthy nutrition. |

The Ajman University Women Empowerment Council (AUWEC), in collaboration with the College of Architecture, Art and Design led by Ms. Sahar Makky, organized an inspiring Awareness Talk by Breast Cancer Survivors as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Moderated by Dr. Dalia Hafiz, the session featured two survivors who shared their personal journeys of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, emphasizing early detection, self-examination, and hope. Over 40 female students, faculty, and staff attended the event. Students also took part in “Sketching for Hope,” a live sketching activity led by Ms. Amira Albash, symbolizing resilience and unity. |

The College of Dentistry organized an oral screening campaign for the workers of Khansaheb Group in Sharjah. During the visit, dental students and interns screened around 140 workers and performed 26 scaling and polishing procedures. Each participant received toothpaste and mouthwash to promote oral hygiene, along with free comprehensive dental treatment at AU’s clinics. |
