Ajman University was honored to serve both as a strategic partner and a member of the external evaluation committee for the Scientific Research and Innovation Award, organized by Ajman X under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman’s Municipality and Planning Department. AU’s dual role reflects its strong commitment to advancing research and innovation, as well as the high caliber of its faculty. The evaluation committee was chaired by Prof. Tamer Elshandidy, Director of Graduate Programs at the College of Business Administration, and included distinguished AU faculty members: Prof. Ghazi Al Naymat, Prof. Ibrahim Elsiddig, Prof. Moayad Al Shahwan, and Dr. Rawan AbuKhait. Their participation underscores the University’s leadership in academic research and its close collaboration with government-led innovation initiatives. |

Ajman University Welcomes Prospective Students at Open Days |

|
Ajman University kicked off its Open Days on July 10 at Sheikh Zayed Center, welcoming prospective students and their families for an immersive admissions experience. Visitors had the opportunity to meet college representatives, explore academic programs, and apply on the spot. The Open Days continue until Saturday, July 12, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Attendees can benefit from up to 50% scholarships and a 100% waived application fee (T&C apply). The initiative is part of the University’s ongoing efforts to make quality education more accessible and support students in making informed decisions about their academic futures. |

Ajman University Hosts Information Sessions & Workshops for Prospective Students

As part of its Open Week activities, Ajman University organized a series of information sessions and workshops from July 1 to 4, 2025, at Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions. The Student Recruitment and Admissions team alongside representatives from the Colleges of Law, Architecture, Humanities and Sciences, Engineering and IT, Business Administration, and Mass Communication, introduced prospective students to AU’s diverse undergraduate and graduate programs. The sessions offered valuable insights into academic pathways, program structures, and career prospects, equipping future students to make informed decisions and take the first step toward becoming career-ready. |

The Unit of Athletics at the Office of Student Life organized a wellness initiative titled “An Hour of Sports Activities” for employees of the Smart Services Development at Ajman Municipality and Planning Department. The event was held in collaboration with the Ajman Youth Council, as part of the University’s efforts to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. |

Ajman University has secured a prestigious international grant from the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) worth USD 410,300.00, in the inaugural cycle of the ICANN Grant Program. This competitive international award, secured through the dedicated efforts of Prof. Rao Naveed Bin Rais from the College of Engineering and Information Technology, will support the development of a groundbreaking system to archive and analyze global data related to the Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC) — a vital cybersecurity protocol that safeguards the integrity of the Internet infrastructure. |
