H.H. Sheikh Humaid Al Nuaimi Attends the Graduation Ceremony for Ajman University’s Class of 2025

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, along with H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the graduation ceremony of Ajman University’s Class of 2025 male students. The ceremony, held at the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions on the campus, celebrated the achievements of over 300 graduates in an atmosphere filled with pride and joy.

The Consort of Ajman's Ruler Attends Ajman University's Class of 2025 Second Cohort Graduation

Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan, consort of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, President of the Umm Al Moumineen Association, and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Rashid Bin Humaid Award for Culture and Sciences, graced Ajman University’s graduation ceremony for the second cohort of the Class of 2025.

The ceremony, held at Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions on campus, celebrated the graduation of over 400 students receiving bachelor's and postgraduate degrees in various disciplines.

AU Soars to #440 in QS World University Rankings for 2026

Ajman University (AU) has achieved a remarkable milestone by ranking #440 globally in the 2026 QS World University Rankings—a 37-place improvement from last year. This substantial leap reflects strong teamwork, commitment, and determination across the institution. In addition, AU ranks #1 in the UAE and #4 globally for the percentage of international students, and holds the #37 global position in the newly introduced International Students Diversity indicator. For Employer Reputation, AU is positioned at #241 globally and #3 in the UAE, highlighting continued strength in graduate career readiness. These results in QSWUR 2026 demonstrate the institution’s growing global standing and ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and societal impact.

What’s New at AU

Be a Part of AU’s New Impact Magazine: Share Your “Made It Happen” Story with the World!

This Fall, Ajman University will launch a unique publication to showcase our societal impact and highlight our key initiatives, particularly those supported by donors and partners.  

Tentatively titled “AU+YOU,” the publication will feature short, compelling stories of creating meaningful change via campus, industry, academia, and community collaborations. Designed to be more of an “experience” than a typical magazine, it will be available to audiences digitally and in print on recycled paper.  

Do you have an impact story? If so, we would like to invite you to submit your work for evaluation by our Editorial Board.  What did you make happen? Why does it matter? Please provide tangible evidence of an actual change that resulted from your work. 

Our submission form was designed to make the process as quick and easy as possible. We’ve also included examples of how to answer each question.  You will only be asked for photos and supplementary materials if your submission is shortlisted.

AU Psychology Students Explore Morocco Through Academic and Cultural Exchange

The Psychology Department at the College of Humanities and Sciences embarked on a rich academic and cultural journey to Morocco, combining education, exchange, and exploration. The visit included immersive experiences in Rabat, Tangier, and Kenitra. Students engaged in academic sessions with faculty and peers from Ibn Tofail University, attended the International Psychology Conference, and presented innovative projects like “The Challenge Train.” The trip also featured cultural visits to historic landmarks, nature reserves, and clinical psychology institutions, offering students a global perspective on mental health practice and intercultural understanding. This enriching experience deepened students’ academic insight, cultural empathy, and professional purpose—affirming AU’s commitment to producing globally aware and socially engaged psychologists.

Ajman University Explores Strategic Collaboration with Cognitive AI Leader Partsol

Ajman University explored a potential collaboration with Partsol, a global leader in Cognitive AI software specializing in e-KYC, e-AML, and vendor risk analysis solutions. Prof. Khaled Assaleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Kamran Arshad, Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, met with senior Partsol executives, including Dr. Darryl Williams, Founder and CEO; Mr. John Callahan, President of Partsol Global (Ireland); Mr. Alan Williams, CTO and President of Partsol Futures (US); and Mr. Michael Murdoch, Chief of Global Development. The discussions focused on collaborative research, student engagement opportunities, and the integration of AI-based cognitive solutions into real-world academic and operational contexts. This initiative reflects AU’s strategic commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and global partnerships.

Ajman University Honored for Excellence in Sustainability by Environment Agency 

Ajman University’s College of Architecture, Art and Design has been recognized by the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi during the prestigious NAHA Environmental Education Awards Ceremony for its impactful participation in the Sustainable Campus Initiative (SCI). Through the 2022–2024 Sustainability Action Projects, CAAD led a range of activities focused on environmental awareness, waste management, energy conservation, and sustainable practices. Highlights included student-led workshops, design initiatives, and a proposal to reactivate the award-winning Solar House as a central facility for the University’s Sustainability Center. The initiative resulted in reduced paper usage, successful recycling campaigns, stronger partnerships with environmental organizations, and greater student engagement and leadership in sustainability.
