The Office of Sustainability launched a free webinar series under the Carbon Neutrality Pillar of the Universities Climate Network (UCN), in collaboration with Ajman University (AU), the American University of Sharjah (AUS), and New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). This initiative aimed to promote climate awareness and carbon literacy for all, aligning with the UAE Year of Community to ensure accessibility for all members of society. Additionally, the UCN Decarbonization Academy offered a series of online workshops on decarbonization, delivered by sustainability experts from academia. On February 24, 2025, Antonios Vouloudis, Senior Director of Sustainability & Stewardship at NYU Abu Dhabi, led the first session on Drafting a Climate Action Plan, which attracted approximately 110 attendees and was highly successful. |
