Ajman University (AU) and the Emirates Green Building Council (EGBC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote sustainability in architecture and the built environment. Signed by Dr. Karim Seghir, AU Chancellor, and Khaled Bushnaq, EGBC Chairman, this partnership aims to integrate sustainability into AU’s curricula, foster research initiatives, and advance green building solutions. It includes providing guidance on green building certifications, offering students of the College of Architecture, Art, and Design opportunities in green projects, and shaping policies for sustainable built environments. The partnership also emphasizes joint projects in green architecture, establishing an innovation hub for sustainable technologies, and promoting resource sharing, faculty exchanges, and joint publications. |

The Department of Language and Culture Organizes an Online Art Exhibition Entitled “Expressionism Using AI” |

The Department of Language and Culture at the College of Humanities and Sciences has launched an innovative online art exhibition titled “Expressionism Using AI.” Conceived and led by Insaf Chahdoura, Lecturer in Arts, Theater, and Aesthetics, the project integrates AI tools into the Introduction to Arts course to teach students how to create artwork using technology. The exhibition features student creations that explore expressionism art that conveys expression of subjective emotions, inner experiences and spiritual themes. Through descriptive prompts and the application of artistic principles like color and contrast, students achieved remarkable results, blending creativity with technology. The College of Mass Communication celebrated the UAE's 53rd National Day with an exhibition showcasing graduation projects by Integrated Marketing Communication students, themed “Health and Safety for the Generations of the UAE.” The event was inaugurated by Dr. Hosam Salama, Dean of the College, in the presence of Dr. Emad Omar, Head of the Department. Supervised by Dr. Dina El-Khattat and Ms. Layal Ayoub, the exhibition featured three innovative campaigns: "Aman," focusing on cybersecurity awareness; "Today’s Children Are Tomorrow’s Heroes," highlighting child development; and "Draw Your Life Path," promoting healthy lifestyles. |
