The College of Law participated in the 11th Legal Book Fair organized by the Judicial Training Institute at the Ministry of Justice in the University City of Sharjah. The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Justice. Faculty members and graduates showcased their works alongside issues of the Law Magazine to promote legal culture and knowledge. The fair featured participation from 24 entities within the UAE, as well as judicial institutes from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, specialized universities, and libraries. Co-organized with Dubai Police, the Universities Council, Zaka Ambassadors, and INTECH ART, the event included two rounds focused on problem-solving and programming using languages like Java and Python. Over five hours, teams were evaluated on coding efficiency and the time taken to solve challenges, with three teams excelling by solving all assigned problems and earning cash prizes, vouchers, and certificates. This competition encouraged students to collaborate and innovate while developing real-world programming solutions in a high-pressure environment. |
