The Bachelor of Science in Accounting Program at Ajman University has achieved international academic accreditation from the highly regarded Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), marking a significant step towards global recognition and excellence. With ACCA accreditation, Ajman University’s accounting graduates gain a considerable advantage: they are eligible for exemptions from eight out of nine exams required for the ACCA qualification.

She took part in a panel discussion on "Collective Roadmap for Circular City Innovation Advocacy," alongside the presidents of the founding organizations, and represented the President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) as an Executive Council member.

Prof. Nadir Kheir, Manager of the Student Success Center and faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, spoke at UNESCO's Digital Learning Week in Paris. This annual flagship event brings together leaders in digital education, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from UN agencies, governments, NGOs, and the private sector to promote the role of technology in education. Dr. Mohammad Shamsi Awarded Best Presentation at ICCBOC in Singapore

Dr. Mohammad Shamsi, Research Associate, was awarded Best Presentation at the International Conference on Chemical Biology and Organic Chemistry (ICCBOC-24) in Singapore. His presentation, titled "Computational Screening of Repurposed Drugs for HMG-CoA Synthase 2 in Alzheimer's Disease," received high acclaim, underscoring his significant contributions to medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.

Research Project "AI-Based Primary Diagnosis of Ocular Health via Smartphone" Earns National Runner-Up Title in James Dyson Award

Students Houssam Hammoud, Mohammad Yaman Al Aref, and Eng. Wessam Shehieb, under the supervision of Prof. Kamran Arshad, Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Mujeeb Rahman, Senior Lecturer at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, developed the research project titled "AI-Based Primary Diagnosis of Ocular Health via Smartphone," which was recognized as the National Runner-Up in the James Dyson Award. This achievement underscores Ajman University's commitment to innovation and excellence in advancing healthcare technology through scientific research.

The Athletics Unit Organizes Sports Challenges for New Student Athletes

The Athletics Unit at the Office of Student Life hosted separate sports challenges for new male and female students to welcome them and guide them on joining sports teams. They offered sports performance tests to assess and enhance fitness levels. Female students participated in challenges like squats, wall sits, plank balance challenges, along with games such as badminton, basketball, jump rope, and tug-of-war. Male students engaged in similar challenges, including arm-wrestling competitions. These events successfully fostered a sense of community and encouraged students to actively engage in campus activities.

Ajman University Participates in Universities Challenge 2024 at International Government Communication Forum

Ajman University participated in the Universities Challenge 2024, organized by the United Arab Emirates University in collaboration with the Sharjah Government Communication Award. Held during the International Government Communication Forum, this year's competition focused on Content Creation, aiming to empower university students to develop innovative solutions to government communication challenges. Ajman University was represented by two teams, each consisting of three students.
