Ajman University Levels Up Student Payments with Amazon Payments Services Partnership

Ajman University will be offering students a significantly enhanced payment experience and upgraded services through a new collaboration with Amazon Payment Services. Being the first University in the northern emirates to offer such advanced payment features, this initiative unlocks a suite of benefits designed to simplify tuition fee management, including flexible installment plans with over 15 UAE banks, seamless integration with digital wallets like Apple Pay, and secure card payment options for both domestic and international transactions. This innovative approach empowers students with greater flexibility and convenience, ultimately enriching their overall journey at Ajman University.

Ajman University Students Marks Achievement in Fine Arts Competition

Ajman University proudly celebrates Abdulrazzak Ali's achievement, winning the prestigious "Best Artistic Work" award at the Fine Arts competition hosted by Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. His stunning neon-colored pieces, illuminating in the dark, captivated judges and audiences alike. Additionally, Mrs. Mona Al Jebali, Senior Officer of Arts and Student Activities, earned a nomination in the "Advanced Artists" category, while Zainab Ali, a student, showcased her talent in the "Emerging Artists" category, exhibiting their finest artworks at the competition.

Ajman University hosted an Iftar gathering at Ajman Saray for its esteemed faculty and staff members, aiming to foster closer connections within the university community and expressing appreciation for their dedication.  The event provided a delightful opportunity for colleagues to come together, bond, and reflect on the spirit of unity and gratitude during the holy month of Ramadan.

Dr. Karim Seghir Honors Winners of AU Global Day 2024

Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, honored the winners of AU Global Day 2024 during an awards ceremony hosted by the Office of Student Life. The event celebrated the achievements of various student clubs, with recognition given to the Palestinian and Jordanian Cultural Club for their outstanding performance and booth. The Emirati Cultural Club secured second place in the Best Booth category, while other notable winners included the French, Philippine, and Iranian Cultural Clubs for their commitment, teamwork, and creativity. The top three winners of the 6th awards performance were the Moroccan, Saudi, and Bangladeshi Cultural Clubs. Overall, the event highlighted the cultural diversity and excellence among participating clubs.

The College of Engineering and Information Technology Organizes a Workshop on Streamlit Application

Ajman University's College of Engineering and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Google Developers Student Club, organized a workshop on Streamlit for interactive web app development. Led by students from the Data Analytics program, the session aimed to familiarize participants with Streamlit's features and practical applications. This hands-on workshop provided valuable training in web app development, equipping participants for future career opportunities.

Ajman University's Youth Initiatives and Dental Anastomosis Clubs at the Office of Student Life, marked International Happiness Day by hosting an iftar dinner for 40 orphaned children.

The White Hearts and Internal Medicine Clubs at Ajman University, under the Office of Student Life, raised tuberculosis awareness on World Tuberculosis Day, hosting students from Sharjah International Private School.

Dr. Karim Seghir Engages in Ramadan Aman Campaign, Distributing Food Packs to Drivers

In a heartwarming initiative by the Office of Community Engagement at Ajman University in collaboration with Al Ihsan Charity Association, Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of the University, alongside volunteers distributed Iftar boxes to drivers in the Emirate of Ajman. This gesture reflects the noble values of Ramadan, showcasing the spirit of giving, sharing, and unity within our community. Through such actions, Ajman University strives to reinforce the bonds of compassion and care that bring us all closer, especially during this blessed month.

The Community Services Unit, in Collaboration with the Entrepreneur Club, Celebrates Zayed Humanitarian Day

On the occasion of Sheikh Zayed’s Humanitarian Day, observed on the 19th of Ramadan, Ajman University Community Engagement volunteers came together to spread kindness and compassion, distributing over 500 Iftar meals to laborers in the Emirate of Ajman. This initiative reflects their commitment to serving the community and upholding the values of compassion and charity exemplified by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May Allah bless his soul.

Ajman University Students and Clubs Volunteer for Longest Ramadan Iftar Table Initiative

Students from Ajman University's Emirates Red Crescent Club and Biomedical Engineering Club, under the Office of Student Life, volunteered for the longest Ramadan Iftar table initiative held at Al Safia Park in Ajman. The event aimed to promote unity during Ramadan and support social activities and initiatives carried out by community institutions, with the aim of establishing a culture of charitable and volunteer work among students.
