On the occasion of the UNESCO World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Services and Professor at the College of Architecture, Art, and Design, participated in the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) flagship event, which included a conference on Energy Transition and Sustainability. As an Executive Council member representing the Middle East and North Africa Dr. Nahla attended WFEO Board committees’ meetings and an Executive Council Special Meeting.

Prof. Nadir Kheir, Manager of Student Success Center (SSC), participated with an invited presentation in the Student Success Symposium hosted by Khalifa University. Prof. Kheir introduced the Peer Tutoring Program at Ajman University, and explained aspects of the Student Academic Success Plan. In his presentation, jointly developed with Dr. Akram Ashames, Assistant to the Vice Chancelor Academic Affairs, Prof. Kheir explained how students are able to make use of the resources provided by the SSC to improve their academic performance, therefore creating well-rounded graduates. |
