Prof. Khaled Assaleh Speaks at THE MENA Reputation Forum

Prof. Khaled Assaleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, spoke at Times Higher Education MENA Reputation Forum held in Abu Dhabi University. The forum brought together leaders to discuss the importance of institutional reputation globally. Prof. Assaleh highlighted Ajman University's rapid rise to prominence since 1988, focusing on its achievements and offering advice on reputation-building.

Ajman University Sponsors and Participates in QS India Summit 2024

Ajman University participated as a Silver Sponsor in the QS India Summit 2024, held in Chennai under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The summit focused on the theme of Collaboration, aiming to explore the latest trends and insights shaping the education landscape in India and foster future collaborations with foreign universities. The event drew the attendance of 400 higher education ministers, enablers, and leaders from 20 countries.

Ajman University Students Invent Smart Shoes for People with Visual Disabilities

Biomedical Engineering students, supervised by Prof. Hamdy Hamed and Mohamed Agam, Assistant Instructor, have developed smart shoes designed for people with visual disabilities. The shoes, featuring obstacle detection sensors, Bluetooth connectivity for vibration and auditory alerts via smartphone, and a family locator feature, was prominently showcased during the innovation month celebration at Ajman Marina.

Ajman University Participates in the Gulf Engineering Forum

Under the patronage and in the presence of Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Supreme President of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, the UAE Society of Engineers, in collaboration with the Gulf Engineering Union, launched the 25th edition of the Gulf Engineering Forum. Prof. Khaled Assaleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Services and Prof. at the College of Architecture, Art, and Design, participated in the forum. Furthermore, students Tamara Maher and Maryam Almetnawy showcased their project, aimed at identifying unethical practices in enterprises.

The Student Success Center has collaborated with Studiosity, a platform offering students prompt feedback on assignments and academic support for practice-based learning.

The lecture highlighted their benefits, such as carbon absorption and wildlife habitat provision. Additionally, a clean-up campaign was organized to raise awareness among participants about the importance of maintaining marine environments.
