The initiative aimed to emphasize the ecological importance, various benefits, and cultural significance of the Ghaf tree in the UAE. The event offered interactive workshop, inspiring participants to plant Ghaf tree seeds in pots. These seeds will be nurtured until they are ready for transplantation onto the university campus. This direct engagement reflects participants' commitment to preserving the environmental heritage for future generations. This helps in integrating the principles of SDG 13: Climate Action as well as SDG 15: Life on Land.
