H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, graced the graduation ceremony of more than 200 students from Ajman University's "Class of 2024". The ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, as well as H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department and Vice Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees; Sheikh Hamid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, and Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, Minister of Climate Change and the Environment and Member of the University's Board of Trustees. |

The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care's research forum hosted Mrs. Alaa Al Amiry and her co-author, Dr. Brian Maguire, to discuss their latest publication titled “Occupational Injuries and Illnesses among Paramedicine Clinicians: Analyses of US Department of Labor Data (2010 – 2020)”. During the session, they delved into the policy implications and recommendations derived from the paper, with the goal of providing insights into decision-makers in the emergency medical services (EMS) profession, striving to enhance a workplace safety for their employees. The live podcast, available on YouTube, was attended by the UCLA research forum panel and over 30 students. Its purpose was to promote and disseminate prehospital research, contributing to the ongoing advancement of the EMS profession.
