Ajman University is now a non-profit institution, pursuant to an Emiri Decree by H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman. This momentous transition to non-profit status aligns with our commitment to providing the highest quality education, advancing knowledge, promoting high-quality research, while fostering a stronger sense of community and shared values. Ajman University will be better positioned to reinvest in academic excellence, research initiatives, student support services, and facilities enhancements – all of which directly benefit our faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Dana Binmahmood Contributes to Masfoot Health Resort Research Project

Dana Binmahmood, a distinguished senior student at Ajman University, is making notable strides in a collaborative research project with Ajman Municipality, focusing on a health resort in Masfoot, Ajman. Under the guidance of Dr. Arar and organized by Eng. Noor Al Yafei, Eng. Nashwa Shiqwarah, and Eng. Maryam Alhumrani, this project combines architectural innovation with wellness. Dana's work, eagerly awaited in the upcoming second semester, exemplifies the university's commitment to contributing real-world solutions, promising a significant impact on community health and well-being.

The College of Architecture, Art and Design (CAAD) concluded its annual camp, exposing high school students to workshops and activities led by faculty. Simulations covered design principles, sustainability, and contributions of Arab architects. Embracing modern technologies, including digital software and virtual reality, the camp emphasized technology integration into design and engineering. The Teaching and Learning Center hosted a workshop, equipping educators with crucial skills for incorporating blended learning. The session encompassed the fusion of digital and traditional methods, delving into flipped classrooms and underscoring the importance of Learning Management Systems tools. This initiative underscores the Center's dedication to empowering educators for adept teaching in today's educational landscape, facilitating the seamless integration of online and traditional methods to enhance the overall learning experience.

The Teaching and Learning Center Organizes a Workshop on Interactive Presentations and Video Creation

The Teaching and Learning Center hosted an enlightening workshop, guiding participants through the essentials of crafting engaging presentations. Attendees learned to leverage PowerPoint's interactive features, including hyperlinks, animations, and multimedia integration. The session also delved into the conversion of presentations into impactful videos, providing insights on incorporating voiceovers and perfecting slide timings. A hands-on practice session allowed participants to apply these skills, encouraging productive sharing and feedback.
